Carmen B. Marquez, Esq.
Estate Planning Attorney Carmen B. Marquez is an experienced estate planning attorney at Hilliard Olson Law & Mediation in Westlake Village, CA. She is bi-lingual and focuses much of her estate planning practice in Southern California on assisting the Hispanic and elder communities and helping individuals and families with their Medi-Cal and estate planning needs. Carmen graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 1993 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in International Business and a minor in Spanish Literature. After working several years in the insurance industry, she decided to pursue a legal career and entered Southwestern University School of Law. Upon graduation, Carmen joined the Law Offices of Mitchell A. Karasov; a Los Angeles, CA firm specializing in Elder Law. Her emphasis was on helping clients with their estate and Medi-Cal planning needs. Carmen moved to the Conejo Valley in 1998 and has become very involved in the local community. While she handles broad-ranging estate planning activities for a variety of clients, she specializes in serving seniors and families, especially those with children. She is an admitted member of the California State Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Ventura County Bar Association, San Fernando Valley Bar Association, and Mexican American Bar Association. She joined Hilliard Olson Law & Mediation in 2009 and lives in Moorpark, CA with her husband, daughter and son. |
