Terri E. Hilliard Olson, Esq.
Estate Planning and Mediation
Terri Hilliard Olson draws upon her vast
experience and easy communication style in helping clients identify
their concerns and risks and through planning reduce or eliminate them.
She currently focuses upon advanced estate and business succession
planning, asset protection, special needs trust, family protection
planning, and general business formation and facilitation. She is also a
private mediator for the community and specializes in helping families,
elders, individuals and businesses resolve disputes.
Ms. Olson began her law career in 1989 after
her successful business practice as an Investment Advisor practicing
financial advising and management of assets for families and successful
entertainment clients. She has extensive business, insurance and civil
litigation experience in highly contested matters throughout the
Southern California area. Ms. Olson moved to the Conejo Valley and
returned to her advisory role for clients representing them in estate
law and business matters. She also founded her Mediation and Dispute
Resolution practice,
Hilliard Mediation Services.
Ms. Olson graduated from Loyola Law School
in 1989 where she was a contributing author of the Loyola Entertainment
Law Journal. As a mediator, she trained at The Straus Institute,
Pepperdine School of Law and Loyola Law School. Ms. Olson is a court
approved Mediator and is on the Los Angeles Court civil and probate
panels.
Ms. Olson is an admitted member of all
California State and Federal Courts, the California State Bar, Southern
California Mediation Association, Eldercare Mediators, the Ventura
County Bar Association, Estates section and Wealth Counsel. She is also
active in civic events throughout the Conejo Valley, a Sustaining Member
of the Junior League of Pasadena, Westlake Thousand Oaks Chamber of
Commerce and the American Business Women's Association.
Most recently, Ms. Olson is co-founder,
president of The Senior & Family Resource Group of the Conejo, a
non-profit organization devoted to educating the community and helping
the needs of senior citizens and families in transition.
